The Top 50 Sayings About Perseverance and Overcoming Struggles
Here are some of the best quotes about perseverance around. I hope they serve you well.
Like everyone else, I’ve been trying to figure out my role to play during this crisis.
Essentially, I’m focused on two things. Firstly, I’m using this opportunity to try new things, embrace new projects, and challenge whatever professional rhythm I was in prior to make sure it still befits me. Secondly, and more importantly, I’m trying to see how I can help and give back.
As part of that mission, I wrote about uplifting podcasts that were keeping my afloat, and then, at the request of readers, I wrote articles on some productive things to do at home, as well as how to create a schedule if you work from home.
And that felt great, and felt right, but I realized that I still wanted to incorporate a larger community narrative into my work.
I thought about where I feel I have the strongest community, and for me, it was an easy decision - Twitter. (not including my beloved Toronto Bloggers Collective, that is).
And So, I Asked My Twitter Family to Let Me Know Their Favourite Quotes About Perseverance
Okay, I’ve got an idea 💡

Below, write one quote that helps you through times of struggle, is related to perseverance, or is applicable to what we’re going through right now. 🙌
If this gets traction, I’ll turn the thread into a blogpost and link to your account on my site! 💻
As you can see, the parameters were pretty lose, but my own personal goal in this was well defined.
I thought it would be incredibly valuable to tap so many of my Twitter friends on the shoulder and ask them what quote is helping through this moment.
That way, I could share a multitude of perspectives (not just my own), but also link to their accounts and perhaps help them get a few new eyes on their account or a few new followers. Everything counts right now, right?
There are some wonderful personal lessons on perseverance shared below, but, more broadly, there are also plenty of inspirational quotes about struggle in life at large.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. I Hope Our Quotes on Perseverance Have Helped
I want to offer up an enormous thank you to my Twitter community, which I often colloquially call my “Twitter FAM,” for their contribution. It’s rather obvious that I couldn’t have offered up so many lessons on perseverance all by myself.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned through this crisis, it’s that although we can’t be together in person, we can definitely support each other online, and genuinely show care for one another.
This article was created in that spirit, and if reading it has brightened up your day in some way, then I’ve done my job.
If we aren’t connected, feel free to link up with me online across my channels (@travelingmitch), or in my Facebook group.
I mean this sincerely - I’ve always got more room in my online family. If this article sparks any other ideas for large scale collaboration or cooperation, feel free to hit me up on Twitter or at chris@travelingmitch.com.
Take care, stay safe, and much love.
